Who provides the app
Frame and Forge is created by Tristin Hassell and published through Gathered Commons Press. The business operating a workspace manages its users and business records.
Workspace records
Accounts, contact details, project and cost records, estimates, photos, documents, and activity records are stored in the workspace folder you choose. These records are not automatically sent to Gathered Commons Press. People with permitted access to that workspace can view the records available to their role.
Optional connections
Workspace administrators choose whether to enable connected services. When you use an optional assistant connection, your question and the permitted workspace information needed to answer it are sent to the selected provider, OpenAI or Anthropic. Review what you include before sending a question. Those providers handle requests under their own privacy policies and service terms.
An optional mailbox connection contacts your mail provider and imports selected email into the workspace. A QuickBooks connection sends authorization and company requests to Intuit. CSV imports are handled in the workspace. Google Maps can receive map requests and project coordinates when the map feature is used. Opening a map or another external link sends you to that service.
These services may receive connection details such as your IP address and retain information under their own terms. Enabling a connection is not a promise of immediate deletion by its provider.
Storage and protection
Saved connection credentials are encrypted. Workspace records and backups are not all encrypted by the app. Protect the computer, workspace folder, and backups with appropriate access controls and disk encryption.
Keeping and removing information
Records remain in your workspace and any backups you keep until you or an authorized workspace administrator remove them. Removing the app does not erase a separate workspace folder. Disconnecting a service does not remove copies already held by that provider.
Support
Information you choose to send through the contact form is used to respond to your request and is covered by the website privacy policy. Please do not send passwords, connection keys, or private client records.
